Beer Dip
BEER DIP! This is the dip we bring everywhere, and it is always the first dip to disappear. Seriously, no gathering is complete without this easy dip.
My dear friend Beth introduced me to this dip. I give her all the credit for the awesomeness! Did I mention how simple this bad boy is to make! Check it out!

How to make Beer Dip
- I used an electric stand mixer to mix up the dip. Feel free to mix by hand…. you will burn many more calories, which means you can eat more beer dip 🙂
- Start by placing the 2 bricks of cream cheese in your mixing bowl. Pour about 1/2 a beer into the bowl.
- Next add your 2 cups of cheese and ranch mix.
- Mix together until smooth. Feel free to play around with the beer. You can add more to make it thinner or don’t put as much in to thicken it up. Refrigerate dip for about and hour. And serve! You can serve this dip with a ton of different dippers. Pita chips, crackers, veggies. Our favorite is pretzels! Hope you enjoy!

How long does this dip last in the fridge?
This dip is super delicious . Your mother made it for a get-together that she and your dad hosted tonight at their house here in Florida. I don’t know if you taught your mom how to cook or if she taught you, but both of you are awesome cooks! I am so glad to know your mom and to subscribe to your blog!
Yay Laura I am so glad you liked it! I learned everything from my Mom when it comes to cooking. She IS amazing 🙂 Hey, maybe the Beer Dip could make an appearance at your LFD? hehe XO
I’ve been making this dip for years and I add one bunch of chopped scallions. OMG so delish!
Have you tried heating this up and melting the cheese? I may try and see what happens.
No I have not. It might get a little greasy though. If you do try it out, please let us know how it goes 🙂
This is SOOOOOOO good!!… I added real bacon bits, small cuts of pepperoni, a little Beau Monde seasoning for added flavor… Making this recipe a touch of me..:)
Will make again & again… ….TY TY TY….:)
Has anyone tried freezing this? How well would it be after being frozen?
I imagine the beer might cause it to crystallize if frozen…
I love this dip! I add bacon and red onions to mine 🙂
mmmmmm, bacon 🙂
Does one type of beer seem to work better than another?
Can this be made without the ranch seasoning? I am living in Japan and want to make this for a party but don’t think there is any ranch seasoning in the stores.
I have a homemade recipe on my site for the ranch mix 🙂 https://www.familyfreshmeals.com/2014/07/diy-homemade-ranch-dressing-mix.html
