Smart Planet Lunch Box

Bento Love: Chain of Love

For this Smart Planet bento, we have cheese, chicken & pineapple kabobs, cherry tomatoes and a chain of cucumbers :) Around the edge is a fruit leather rope for dessert.

The girls loved this lunch….especially the cucumber chain.

To make it fun, we interlaced arms and said the three of us were a chain of love :)

They also loved trying out a cool new bento lunch box by Smart Planet :) The entire bento was devoured by my girls.

Now on to the REVIEW & GIVEAWAY!!!

The wonderful people at Smart Planet offered me the chance to review their large and small lunch boxes… AND

provide a large Smart Planet Eco Lunch Box for a giveaway! Keep reading to find out how to enter :)

Here is the large green and small pink Smart Planet lunch boxes. This fun, collapsible lunch box is made from BPA-free, food grade silicone and biodegradable Eco Plastic. Planet Box says it’s made to hold anything from a sandwich, to last night’s leftovers and even soup. They are microwave and dishwasher safe. Bonus! When you are done with lunch, just fold them up and store. Love that :)

One of the coolest features this lunch box has, is a built in utensil.
This two sided spork snaps right into the lid… FUN!
The sides of the lunch box snap shut to provide a nice seal.

Here is the large Smart Planet lunch box in it’s flat “storage position”
To use, just pop out!

Here it is ready to go :)

The fun thing I also learned about these lunch boxes was you could use them in their flattened state too! Sometimes when I’m making a bento lunch, I feel the food looks better and is more accessible in a shallow container. Here I show you how the small bento is being used in it’s flat form.

Now the big test was going to be if Big D could open the Smart Planet Lunch Box by herself.

I showed Big D once how to do it, and then handed her the box.
No problem at all!

She got it on the first try :)

The built in utensil was not as easy for her to do.
She mostly struggled getting the spork out of the lid. After 4 attempts, she finally got it.
Once it was out of the lid, she had no problem taking it out of the case.

Even though it was the most difficult part for her, she was in LOVE with that built in utensil. hehe.

I like the look of it – more importantly, my 10 year old son does, he’s at an age where he doesn’t want his lunch to look babyish. He said the green box looks cool :)

  3. says

I love that it is food grade silicone/BPA-free, so I don’t have to worry about unsade plastics for my kids.
