Bento Love: Unicorns and Rainbows
For this bento I did an almond butter & jelly unicorn sandwich with fruit leather horn & sprinkle mane.
Next to the sandwich are pretzels and roasted veggies. In the background is a rainbow and clouds, made from cheese and food color pens.
For dessert are fruit leather birds & a cranberry/chocolate covered sunflower seed mix.
Here is Big D showing her baby unicorn the awesome lunch
Big D has been OBSESSED with unicorns lately. So I though I would try out a unicorn.
Our supplies were running low this week (I need to get to the store already!) so I had little work with. I went into my cookie cutter box to find a horse… and out of the hundreds of cutters… NOT ONE HORSE!
I did find this dog that could be confused for a horse. hehe The sprinkle mane idea came from a fellow bento friend, Cookie Cutter Lunch.
Her unicorn puts mine to shame
The roasted veggies recipe came from Keepinfitforlife. So yummy, and the girls loved it!

haha love it, it turned out SO cute! the veggies DO look delish!
Those veggies are so good, and I always forget how easy they are to make. I need to make those every week!
I think your unicorn is cute! And great job on the rainbow! D’s unicorn friend looks like it is thinking “hmm, how can I steal some candy coated seeds without her noticing…?”
Hahahaha.. so true! That sneaky unicorn! hehe
Come to Candy Mountain, Charlieeee!
Hahahaha…awesome
This is one of my favorites! SO cute!
Thanks Diana!
The veggies look delicious! (And the unicorn is adorable..)
Love the colour! Thanks for linking to the Rainbow Connection!
I love your Unicorn idea! It came out so cute! I have to make one for my daughter soon
