EASY Homemade Tortilla Chips

EASY Homemade Tortilla Chips served on a plate with cheese dipping sauceI found this recipe on one of my favorite sites…. Family Fun. They always have such great ideas for parents! With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, I decided to make homemade tortilla shamrock chips for the girls. There are two great things about this recipe.

  1. SUPER easy…. cut out shapes, spray, bake
  2. You can make ANY shape you want.

Search through your cookie cutter and have fun!package of tortilla chips, Pam spray, cookie cutter and container of salt

EASY Homemade Tortilla Chips

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Cut shapes out of tortilla.
  2. Arrange the cut-outs on a baking sheet, lightly coat them with cooking spray, and sprinkle them with salt.Shamrock shaped tortilla piece laid out on a baking sheet

Cook Time 7 minutes
Total Time 22 minutes

Ingredients
 

  • - 6 large tortillas
  • - cooking spray
  • - salt
  • - your choice of cookie cutter for shape

Instructions

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Cut shapes out of tortilla.
  • Arrange the cut-outs on a baking sheet, lightly coat them with cooking spray, and sprinkle them with salt.
  • Bake at 350° for 5 to 7 minutes, and your chips are ready for a dip in salsa or guacamole.

    1. VERY yummy. I couldn’t believe how nice and crunchy they got. I looked at my husband in amazement and said “I made CHIPS!” Hahaha. I was very excited!
