Waffle Iron… meet Cinnamon Rolls.
Cinnamon Rolls, meet Waffle Iron.
The rest, is HISTORY!
I stumbled across this great idea on A Hen’s Nest and HAD to give it a try. As you have read in other posts, I am very fond of my waffle iron.
So whenever I find recipes that use it, I am excited and willing to give it a try. Now, don’t get me wrong.
I love to make my nice, warm, gooey, soft breakfast rolls from scratch sometimes, but if you are in a rush, and want to get outta your BORING old breakfast rut, this recipe is perfect just for that.
This recipe transforms your cinnamon rolls in to crisp waffles in no time at all.
Let me first tell you about this AWESOME new product I found at our Super Target.
The idea behind Family Fresh Meals is to use fresh foods when cooking. I try to stay away from prepacked stuff when I can.
That is why I was so excited to find this Immaculate Baking Co! No nasties in here! So I keep a can on hand for those mornings I know will be rush, rush, rush!
Here is what you need (makes 5 waffles)
- 1 tube of refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls (I HIGHLY recomment Immaculate Baking Co)
- Cooking spray to help with sticking on waffle iron.
1. Set waffle iron to medium/high setting and wait until it is warmed up! Spray with cooking spray and place one roll on each waffle section.
Close and cook until golden and crisp. This took about 3 minutes for my iron.
