The wonderful folks over at Smart Planet recently contacted me about a couple new lunch boxes they have just released. I was a big fan of their other lunch boxes, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these!

I had the opportunity to review Smart Planet boxes before, and what I have always loved about them is the fact that they are collapsible, making storage a dream. AND they are dishwasher safe and microwave safe. All of these things make this Mama’s life easier!

The 3 new containers are the Lunch Box, Pizza Box and Travel Bowl. So fun!

All of the new boxes come with innovative spork utensil that snap into the lid. On top of that, they are BPA free, dishwasher and microwave safe. You can see all the great colors over at the Smart Planet website.

The first new box is the Pizza Box….. And that is exactly what it does. It’s job is to pack up a couple of left over pieces of pizza for lunch, and it does that perfectly. This fun box comes with a pizza slice divider, allowing you to hold up to two full slices of pizza. How great is that for packing up leftovers for lunch. As mentioned above, you can see the clip in spork, right in the lid!

Next is the Lunch Box. It is seperated into 3 compartments. A large one for your main meal and 2 smaller ones for sides. This one worked great for the fun lunch I made for the girls. The cool feature with this container is the condiment container that is built into the lid. This would be great for dressings for salads, or ketchup for some chicken nuggets. Once again…. there is that cute spork built in to the lid, ready to rock!

The last container is perfect for those long commutes to work. The Travel Bowl. The cup like design fits just right in most car cup holders. I packed a yogurt parfet for Darryl’s long commute to work last week, and he LOVED it. He said the container fit in the cup holder perfectly.

PROS:

-They all collapse to half their size for storage.
-They each have built in utensils.
-Microwave and dishwasher safe
- My 5 year old was able to open all of the containers.
- Great BRIGHT colors

Cons:
- 5 year old was not able to close and seal the containers.
- The utensils are difficult to open.
