Cook quickly stove-top or simmer all day in the crockpot!

My good friend Jannelle had the girls and I over a couple weeks ago for a playdate. Big D and her daughter are quickly becoming BFFs. SO CUTE

While the kiddos munched away on chicken nuggets, Jannelle served the adults this OUTSTANDING crockpot chili! I had to have the recipe! After she wrote it down, I couldn’t believe how EASY this was to make.

The best part was that you could cook it quickly stove-top or let it roast all day in the crockpot. SCORE!  Did I mention it is totally kid friendly?! Big D & Little D requested this 3 nights in a row. LOVE that!  Hope you enjoy this crockpot chili as much as we did.

  1. Hey! Tried finding salsa verde at the grocery store but all of them were expensive ($5 and up for a small jar). What do you use? Is that what I should expect to pay? Thanks!

    • I have been able to find a store brand (and name brand) for less than that. That does seem super expensive. A brand off the top of my head is La Victoria. I usually can get a large jar of that for about around $4. But I know I have paid less than even that for a large jar of store brand. What grocery stores are in your area?

      • Thanks! We have Giant, Weis, Wegmans (but I prefer not to go there…packed and crazy!) I will do more digging. Thanks!!!
