Savory Sausage Cheese Breakfast Bread Recipe -- FamilyFreshMeals.com

Why start your day with the cold cereal and milk when you can mix it up with this Savory Sausage Cheese Breakfast Bread! This breakfast bread is full of all your favorite breakfast flavors…. Cheese, eggs and sausage!!!

I’m sure any breakfast meat would also taste amazing in this bread, so if you don’t have sausage on hand, no worries. Substitute in some bacon or diced ham. Do you have a vegetarian at home? Try out a vegetarian soy sausage. It works just the same and tastes great.   This Savory Sausage Cheese Breakfast Bread also reheats perfectly in the toaster oven the next day (that is IF you have any leftovers…just sayin’)

Not only is this recipe great for breakfast, but I used my leftovers to dip in some warm soup the next day at lunch.

  1. My Husband, Paul just came home from a business trip early this morning. So to celebrate I wanted to make a special breakfast. I knew as soon as I saw this recipe this would be perfect. Thank you for this wonderful idea!! It is in the oven now!!! Can’t wait to try it out.

  2. I just made this for breakfast and it was fantastic! My one year old couldn’t get enough. I browned a pound of bulk sausage with the diced onion and ended up putting a little more than half into the batter. I’m definitely going to be making this again.
    Thanks!

  3. all i have on hand is smoked sausage…think that will work?

  4. I’ve made this bread almost a dozen times in the past couple months. It’s absolutely delicious! I started making it in a muffin tin (baking for 20 mins) and then I have single servings I can grab on the way out the door for a quick weekday breakfast. For the hot sauce, I use sriracha since it’s what I always have on hand, and I think it tastes great in this.

  5. Can sour cream or greek yogurt work as a substitute for the mayo?
