  1. My Husband, Paul just came home from a business trip early this morning. So to celebrate I wanted to make a special breakfast. I knew as soon as I saw this recipe this would be perfect. Thank you for this wonderful idea!! It is in the oven now!!! Can’t wait to try it out.

    1. Yay! I hope you guys love it!

I just made this for breakfast and it was fantastic! My one year old couldn’t get enough. I browned a pound of bulk sausage with the diced onion and ended up putting a little more than half into the batter. I’m definitely going to be making this again.
    Thanks!

  3. all i have on hand is smoked sausage…think that will work?

  4. I’ve made this bread almost a dozen times in the past couple months. It’s absolutely delicious! I started making it in a muffin tin (baking for 20 mins) and then I have single servings I can grab on the way out the door for a quick weekday breakfast. For the hot sauce, I use sriracha since it’s what I always have on hand, and I think it tastes great in this.

  5. Can sour cream or greek yogurt work as a substitute for the mayo?

    1. I think the flavor would be great…but not sure if the mayo is used as an oil…..look online to check substitutes

  6. Hi. I am not familiar with Bisquick as there are none being sold in our supermarket, what would be a good substitute if made from scratch?

Wow Wow and Wow! Corey, you knocked this one out of the park. Another of your recipes, loved by the whole family. Thanks.

  8. Can I use oil instead of mayo?

    1. I have only made the recipe as written Noelle, so I cannot say for sure.
