Do you Ziplist?

Recipe Organization with ZipList - FamilyFreshMeals

Have you heard of Ziplist? I have recently paired up with them to offer my Family Fresh Meals readers an easy peasy way to save & organize online recipes into a meal planner, generate shopping lists, and even how to find killer grocery deals in YOUR local area!

I know “new things” can be intimidating, so I wanted to show you how easy it is to use, and how to sign up for this FREE service if you haven’t already. To start, click HERE to sign up for an account.

You are going to find that there are a ton of food bloggers out there that have this”Recipe Box” tab at the top of their page. Just like I do now.

When you see that in a menu bar, you can access your Ziplist right from that website. So, once you sign up, and then click on the Recipe Box  tab on Family Fresh Meals, you will be taken to your personal Ziplist :)

You will also notice that in addition to a print option on my recipe cards, there is also a Save button now. If you click the save button, this recipe will automatically be save to your Ziplist! Whoop whoop!

Once you have saved a bunch of scrumptious Family Fresh Meals recipes, click on the Recipe Box tab at the top of the page. You will be directed to a page that looks like this.

From here you can organize online recipes into a meal planner, generate shopping lists, and even how to find killer grocery deals in YOUR local area! Lets start with the meal planner.

Meal Planner

If you click on a recipe. You have the option to add to your Meal Planner.  From there you can select what day you are going to make each recipe you saved.  You can even sync your meal plan with your Google Calendar or iCal! Love that :)

One last thing…. if you are on a site that doesn’t have that handy Save Recipe button, you simply drag this Ziplist button to your the top of your web browser and the whenever you see a recipe you want to keep, you click that button and it will store it for you. Wham, bam, thank you ma’am :)

Just wondering can you type in your favourite recipes into Ziplist and or scan in recipes you find in a book?

    • Corey says

Yes, you can add your own recipes to Ziplist. When in your ZipList Recipe Box, simply click Create a Recipe and use the fields to add your ingredients, instructions, photos, etc. I hope that helps!
