The Best Copycat Shamrock Shake

Copycat Shamrock Shake in a glass topped with whipped cream and a cherry

Isn’t it unfair that the only time you can snag a Shamrock Shake is during the month of March? Not anymore. This copy cat recipe tastes JUST LIKE the real deal, and you have the luxury of having this tasty dessert anytime of year.

I also love the fact that I can use our favorite ice cream brand or use a lower fat version for my husband and I.

NOTE: If you are feeling super sneaky, you can also add in a handful of baby spinach. My kids can never tell the difference, and it makes the shake even greener 🙂

Goodness… Shamrock Shakes… I haven’t had one in years!!! Never in the States at the right time of year. Corey, goodness, I am going to whiz this up in March when #3 has arrived and it’s one of Those Days: the first or second day that DH goes back to work after paternity leave and I’m alone with the baby. Can’t dare trying this too often 😛 or the baby weight will never go, and mint is known to slightly and temporarily cut down on lactation for a couple hours so it’s for the naptime treat. But you can bet I will LOVE having another Shamrock Shake, and will raise my glass to Family Fresh Meals!!!
