Snowman Cups

Snowman themed pudding cupsThis is a wonderful recipe to make with kids, for three reasons. First, it’s really easy to make. You don’t have to use the oven, or even the stove. All you have to do is crush some cookies, mix the ingredients, and add the toppings-all steps that are easy for little hands to handle.Second, it’s creative and fun. Decorating the little snowmen is just like making an art project.

Kids will love choosing different colors of icing for each snowman’s little hat and scarf and putting on the biggest red smiles they can manage. And they’ll be thrilled with the oohs and ahhs of admiration when the decorated snowmen are brought to the table. Also to save on time, this fun holiday dessert can also be prepared ahead of time. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Finally, the finished dessert is as much fun to eat as it is to make. Any combination of chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, and whipped topping is sure to be a hit with kids, but when you turn all those ingredients into a little smiling snowman, it’s like a dessert and a toy all in one. What could be better?
