Loaded Cheesy Tater Tots

Loaded Cheesy Tater Tots in a cast iron skillet

There’s something almost magical about Tater Tots. They start from something so plain and ordinary, a potato, and they somehow transform into a crunchy, delicious little morsel.

On top of that, they’re so easy to work with! They cook up in no time, and you can use them in so many ways. You can start with just about any basic potato recipe, substitute in these little gems, and poof-you’ve got an instant meal with a special crispy-crunchy kick.

That’s just what I’ve done with my Loaded Cheesy Tater Tots. Start with everything you’d use on a loaded baked, but by putting it all on top of tater tots instead of common taters, you elevate it to a whole new level. A level where hot, gooey cheese meets crispy fried potato, and a single bite can crunch in your teeth and melt in your mouth all at the same time.

And like every tater tot recipe, it’s so simple to make that it really is like a magic trick. You just throw all the toppings on your cooked tater tots, whisk them back into the oven for a couple of minutes, and presto! Dinner is served.

And for your next trick, just put them in front of your family and watch them disappear.

Yummy! That looks great. I’ve used to eat that kind of food till I’ve changed my way of living. I feel much better now, but I have to admitt the fact that I miss all ingredients that you mentioned above, especially bacon and cheddar cheese.

  2. A tablespoon of scallions sprinkled on at the end really enhances the flavor of this!
