Green Apple Jolly Rancher Martini

Green Apple Jolly Rancher Martini - FamilyFreshMeals.com -

I had so much fun mixing up my Lucky Leprechaun Cocktail, I thought I’d try whipping up another green drink for St. Patrick’s Day. And since I’ve already made one with lime, I figured for this one, I’d do a green apple flavor.

This Green Apple Jolly Rancher Martini is a little more complicated than my other one, because you have to make it in stages. The green apple flavor comes from a bag of green apple Jolly Ranchers, which you dissolve in a bottle of vodka. This takes a while, though you can help it along by giving the bottle a good shake from time to time throughout the day. Just be patient…good things come to those who wait.

Green Apple Jolly Rancher Martini - How to make infused vodka

Once the Jolly Ranchers are all dissolved, you can use this infused vodka to mix up the cocktail. Just shake it up with some ice, lemon juice, and simple syrup, and then serve it in a glass with a sugared rim and a green-apple garnish. You can use green sugar to make it look extra Irish, but plain white sugar also works fine.

Don’t let that cute green color fool you – this cocktail has quite a kick. Just one should have you feeling quite jolly.
