Crockpot Pork Loin

Directions:

Ingredients
 

  • 2.5 pound pork loin fillet or 2 tenderloins
  • 1 pkg onion soup mix
  • 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Add soup mix, Worcestershire sauce and beef broth to bottom of crockpot and whisk to combine.
  • Place pork into crockpot and sprinkle with salt and pepper.  
  • Cover and cook on low 4 hours. Spoon your sauce over pork loin and cut and serve with juices.

    How much longer should I cook the loin if I put in a frozen loin in the crockpot?

    1. You’ll want to add an addition 1- 1.5 hours to your cooking time.

    1. Yep, you might need tp adjust the cooking time since the cut of meat will not be a thick

    If I don’t want to add the onion soup mix what can I put in it’s place? Or is it necessary to put anything in?

    1. The onion soup mix is a major part of the seasoning for the meat. So if you omit it, make sure to replace it with a different, preferred seasoning.

      This awesome easy recipe . You can just some beef broth I or water the meat will make a nice gravy I use onion mix but I do with out too and add fresh onion as well.

    1. Yes! I would put them around the the pork loin.

        1. I would add them in at the beginning, and just make sure you cut them into large chunks.

    I am cooking this meal as I type. I have 2.5 lbs pork tenderloins (2 fillets). What is shown on/in the pictures above showing the meat inside the crock pot as mine looks bigger?. Is the meat pictured above 2 fillets? Or one fillet? Additionally, I was wondering if I was to add red potatoes and carrots when would they be added? Thank you

    1. Hi Audrey, I hope this turned out well for you. The fillet is 1 2.5lb tenderloin. I would add the carrots and potatoes in at the beginning, cut into large chunks.
