This looks yummy. And so easy to make too.
Hey Corey,
You know what? I tried to make this 2 times before (finally) successfully pleased my family.
But it is worth the hard work. LOL.
Anyway, thank you for making me look like a professional. 🙂
Hey, if you don’t mind, you can submit your hawaiian BBQ & bell pepper crockpot chicken photos to http://www.foodporn.net/ to make others hungry.
You know it’s fun to make others hungry. Especially when they are so hungry they finally want to create your recipe. 🙂
It is worth the try. 🙂
Thanks!
I am so glad I could help you out with dinner Nina! 🙂
Hi Corey
Made this for Dinner tonight!!! It was SUPER DELICIOUS!!! So easy too !!! I added 1/3 cup of Cornstarch Slurry to thicken into a Gravy over rice!!!
making this right now, the house sure smells good!
YUM!
just finished serving this….it’s a big hit
Oh good! Thank you so much for stopping by to let me know 🙂 Enjoy! XO
so how many lbs of chicken breast? 4-5 could mean anything.
Corey,
I would love to make this for my family, but my daughter has a pineapple allergy. Any suggestions for a replacement?
Maybe using an apricot preserve instead. It would still provide the same sweetness as the pineapple 🙂
I made this tonight. It was super watery… yummy, but super watery. Would it work if I cut the amount of broth & water?
i MADE THIS AND TOTALLY REMOVED THE WATER BASED ON ANOTHER COMMENT. iT WAS VERY GOOD BUT I THINK IT’S STILL TOO THIN. i LIKED IT ENOUGH TO MAKE IT AGAIN BUT I WILL EITHER REDUCE THE BROTH OR THICKEN THE SAUCE WITH CORNSTARCH NEXT TIME.
Has anyone used chicken thighs to make this?
And has anyone figured out the pound weight of chicken to use?
And lastly, I assume you can use fresh peppers?
Why frozen? Just to save time?
What size crock pot is used for the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken?
