Any nutrition info on this dish? I’m mostly interested in calories.
Also, if I wanted to add bean sprouts, any advice as to when to add it in? I like them relatively soft but still with a bit of a crunch (if that makes sense, haha!).
Can’t wait to try it!!

This was delicious. It took my 4 yr. old son about 20 minutes of complaining before he submitted and finally took a bite.
Then he scarfed the whole bowl down! My three year old had two bowls and still wanted more. Thank you!

Haha! That is awesome Annie! Love it 🙂

I made this side dish today and it was REALLY GOOD. I like fried rice, but unfortunately rice makes me itch so I don’t really eat it. So, when I made this dish today it tastes just like fried rice. Great Idea using cauliflower, thanks!

I grate the cauliflower in my vitamix. Then, in the pan I saute for about 5 minutes…then I put about 2 cups of An indian Sauce on it, cover it, and cook until the sauce is bubbling.
It tastes better than using Rice.

I tried a version of this recipe and I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. (I added fresh mushrooms and yellow peppers.) I didn’t even add the egg and it was very filling. I will definitely make it again!
Karen says
I have made this delicious recipe before but today I’d like to make this for 8 people, should I just double everything or is there a better ratio for the ingredients? Please help making it now.
Corey says
Doubling everything would work out great!

I tried this recipe tonight. I added baby spinach that needed to be used, cooking it after the garlic and onion became transparent. I stirred it around until it was wilted. Next, I added the rest of the ingredients as stated in the directions.
This is an amazing dish. I’m looking forward to making it for the kids in my life.

I HATE cauliflower, but I LOVE this recipe. It is the only cauliflower recipe I can stomach. Tastes just like fried rice. No exaggeration. I made a couple of additions, but I am certain the results would have been fabulous without them. I cooked the onions in bacon fat, and sprinkled green onions on top. Even my pickiest kids had seconds. Thank you.

This was REALLY great. I told my boyfriend it was cauliflower rice and after tasting it he says there isn’t much cauliflower. He couldn’t believe there wasn’t actual rice in there. The only thing I’ll do differently next time is to substitute 1 Tablespoon of water for 1 Tablespoon of soy. But this is delicious. It’s successful recipes like this that make me excited to continue trying new recipes! Thank you!

This was amazing!!! I made it with a can of la choy stir fry veggies as I was short on time and needed dinner ready fast. It made Chinese food night filling without guilt. Normally I try to fill up on steamed veggies with Chinese night to feel full without eating way too many calories. This dish made our fun dinner filling while still being moderately healthy.

I am going to try this tonight. Last week I made Spanish rice using cauliflower. They make crumbled cauliflower in a bag. Makes it simple.

This is my newest obsession. I absolutely love it!

I just made this for dinner with shrimp. My husband loved it and it is going to be one of our alternates to fried rice. What a way to have the nutrient of the veggies and the taste and texture of fried rice without the rice, but using cauliflower! Sorry, I wanted to rate this recipe with five stars, but the adds kept getting in the way. Thanks.

My husband SWORE he didn’t like cauliflower. We’ve been married 14 years and he would NEVER try it. We were at an Indian restaurant and he got something he thought was potato, took a bite and said ‘this is great’, I had some of the same thing and said, ‘yum, cauliflower cooked like this is great’ he refused to take another bite.
All of this to say: He LOVED your fried “rice” recipe. He devoured his first bowl and got seconds. THANK YOU!!!

This was amazing. I found the riced cauliflower while shopping at CostCo yesterday. A double bag cost about $5 and is enough to make this recipe twice. We are trying to cut down on meat and grains by having 2 or 3 meals a week without them. I am so glad I remembered this recipe and bought the cauliflower. This will definitely make it into my weekly meal rotation!
jackie says
Have made this twice over the past 2 weeks (we discovered it 2 weeks ago) – it is soo yummy. Also makes great lunches!
Thanks for sharing.

I have to my carb intake so what’s the nutrition value on the cauliflower fried rice?
Morenike Cameron says
I was able to find cauliflower rice at a popular wholesale store. It was packaged as 4-12oz packages in one bag….Also, I’ve done a coconut flavored “rice” using lite coconut milk and grated ginger. My daughter and I don’t even miss actual rice anymore.

Hi! I just found this recipe and love it. I cannot cook AT ALL but I was able to follow your recipe/directions and it was delish!!! Thank you! I cannot stop eating it! I used frozen riced cauliflower and worked great!
Heather Gilliland says
Did you thaw out the frozen cauliflower? Or have to squeeze out any water? I’ve got the frozen stuff too.
Linda Koehn says
I’m definatly going to try this one. Our Wegmans has cauliflour rice all made up. I’ll try it with
that first. I’ve been looking for recipes to try the rice with. And I love chinese food. Thanks for posting this one.

This looks amazing! Can’t wait to try it! Need a nutrition info breakdown, though.
Karen says
I was wondering if I could freeze this after I cooked it? Thank you!

Turned out Great, Thanks 🙂

This recipe is fantastic!! It was super quick and easy to prepare. You can adapt the recipe to whatever you have on hand. Instead of running out to the grocery store since I didn’t have green onion, I chopped up a
regular onion, also used 3/4 cup of frozen pea/carrot/green bean mix, used some jarred minced garlic. The changes I made were more for convenience than for changing the flavor–Great recipe!

Hi, just found this recipes. I have a question, can you re-heat cauliflower fried rice? I have plan to make this the night before for lunch at the office bcs have to go really early in the morning. Thank you for the recipe. ?
Corey says
Yes, you sure can!
Chris S says
I have been using this style of “fake” rice since a while now.
My kids have no clue that is not “real” rice.
They even say that the fried rice at a Asian buffet taste way to greasy then the one I make at home.
It is kind of fun to watch them go crazy on this meal and yet I know, that they are eating veggies….
