DIY Travel Coloring Case
With summer time comes a lot of travel. Visiting family, friends, day trips….you name it, we do it. These little DIY Travel Coloring Cases are a parent’s best friend. My girls love to color. Give them a pack of post-it notes, and they are busy for hours. Combine the two, and you have a life saver! And they couldn’t be easier to make!

I found these first aid kits in in the dollar toiletry section at our Target. Crayons and Post-it notes fit perfectly in there. BOOM! An instant DIY Travel Coloring Case. If you can’t find the first aid kits at your local Target, they also sell them on Amazon here: First Aid Kit Travel soap container would work great too! The girls absolutely loved them!

Love this idea!! Im doing it tomorrow!!!
You are SO creative Mama!! Totally fun idea 🙂 Great post and pics!
If your going to leave them in the car and you live in Florida like I do. Make it colored pencils. Crayons melt fast! found that out the hard way!
Good tip!
My 6 year old just glimpsed a pic and said, “awesome!!” Thanks for the tip! 🙂
This is a good size to just throw in my purse. That way I’m in the car it’s cool enough not to melt
the crayons. When I go inside, my purse goes with me.
how many crayons does it hold pic shows a box of 24 does it hold 24 or less?
Less that 24. It depends on how thick of a post-it note pad you put in there. If it is thinner, you can double the layer of crayons, but if you have a thicker pad of paper, it’s less 🙂
we use the left over supply boxes from school and put pencils in it. crayons are messy and melt in hot summer cars.
A sandwich tupperware works great too!
What can I use to suppsitute the box
