Easy Crockpot Balsamic Beef

Ok people, here’s another easy crockpot recipe to try out next week.  It will instantly become one of your family’s  favorite meals.  Mouth watering good AND so easy to make.

And talk about flavor! WOW. It just doesn’t make sense that something this easy to make could taste this amazing.

I like to serve our Easy Crockpot Balsamic Beef  with some roasted veggies, mashed or roasted potatoes, with a side of these cheesy rolls. OMG. I am drooling right now!

Easy Crockpot Balsamic Beef 

Ingredients:
2-3 lb beef (chuck or round) roast
1 cup low sodium beef broth
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
3-4 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together broth, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt and pepper.

  2. Place your roast in your slow-cooker. Pour mixture over roast. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or… if you are in a rush, on HIGH for 4 hours. Once roast is done, shred meat, remove from crockpot and set aside.

  3. Place the liquid from the crockpot into  a small sauce pan and simmer to thicken, about 5-10 minutes. Drizzle over meat and serve immediately.

  2. I made this the other day for my family of 6. I work full time and all the kiddos are ages 3-8 so I don’t have a lot of time to cook. This turned out great. Everyone liked it so much and we made leftovers into steak sandwiches the next day. Going to try the chicken noodle soup tonight. Thank you so much – love your site!

    WOW! I am sole caretaker for my long-time partner who has Alzheimers and Disphagia, among other problems. He is not ready (or willing) to live on pureed foods and I have begun shredding beef, chicken, and creating dishes with his favorite flavors and he seems to tolerate them very well. Because the elderly often lose (or diminish) their senses of smell and taste, I accentuate seasonings so he enjoys meals as well as gets nutrition. I know how he will really enjoy Balsamic beef and many of your other ideas in this collection and I thank you for it.

    Savory and tender! Served the first night with mashed potatoes and the second night, served sandwiches on ciabatta bread and provolone cheese and with the reduction as a dipping sauce.

  9. This is now a family favorite. My daughters and I have an e-cookbook so that we can share and add recipes no matter where they are. One is in college, 1 is moving to Chicago after Grad school and one is in high school here at home. They make your Balsamic Beef for themselves and their friends. Also made a double batch at Christmas for a family dinner with our extended family from out of town. Everyone loved it – kids and adults!
