No Bake Chocolate Caramel Cereal Bars

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup pink candy melts
  • 2 cups Cheerios cereal
  • 1 package melting caramels
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles
  1. Line a square 8X8 inch pan with non stick spray or parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips by microwaving 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between rounds. Spread melted chocolate the bottom of a square 8x8 inch pan. Set aside.
  3. Heat caramels in a sauce pan, on low to melt. Once they begin to soften, whisk in heavy cream. Stir frequently and remove from heat when completely liquid and smooth.
  4. Mix Cheerios with caramel gently to coat.
  5. Spread out in a layer on top of your melted chocolate.
  6. Melt white chocolate and pink candy melts in separate microwave safe bowls (the same way your melted the chocolate chips). Once melted, drizzle on each one in a random pattern all over your Cheerios until you have a look that you want. (This layer shouldn’t be too thick, so your bars are easy to bite)
  7. Add sprinkles and mini chocolate chips to the top, then let cool/harden for 1 hour before cutting into squares.
