Gooey Chocolate Nut Bars

  • 1 (8oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 cup white vanilla baking chips
  • 1 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup cashew halves and pieces
  • 1 can/bottle (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees (350 degrees for dark or nonstick pan). Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles.
  2. Grease bottom and sides of 13X9. Place rectangles in pan and press over the bottom and ½ inch up the sides to form a crust. Bake for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the partially baked crust from the oven. First sprinkle with your cup of white chips, then chocolate chips.
  4. Next sprinkle on all of your almonds.
  5. And finally, sprinkle on the cashews evenly over the crust.
  6. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top.
  7. Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes and then run a knife around the edges to loosen.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or until chocolate is set. Cut into squares and serve.
