Baked "Fried" Pickles

Serves: 2-3
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3-4 Tablespoons of flour
  • 1 teaspoons of seasoning salt (I used Lawry's)
  • ½ teaspoon of dill
  • 1½ cups of Panko Japanese bread crumbs
  • 2-3 Dill pickles, thinly sliced
  1. In a shallow bowl add 1 egg. Beat with a folk.
  2. Add the flour and mix until it's a paste like consistency.
  3. Next Add the Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Mix well.
  4. Add your thinly sliced pickles into the mixture. Toss to coat pickles evenly.
  5. Pour the Panko bread crumbs in a shallow bowl.Add pickles in one at a time, trying to coat each one evenly.
  6. Spread them on a wire rack that is over a cookie sheet. Cook them in the oven on broil (500 degrees) for 4-6 minutes (or when they start to get golden).
  7. Take them out and flip them onto the other side and return them to the oven for another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Keep your eye on them to make sure they don't burn. Serve warm.
  9. Dip in ranch, or your favorite creamy dip!
