Instant Pot Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta
I get a real kick out of cooking French food. It isn’t my absolute favorite cuisine, but it just makes me feel so much like a chef.
My favorite French recipe is chicken Cordon Bleu, a delicious combo of breaded chicken cutlets stuffed with Swiss cheese and ham. I’ve already done two different, delicious takes on this dish: a Lightened-Up Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole and a cute little muffin-tin version called Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu Bites. And now, with the help of my Instant Pot, I’m turning chicken Cordon Bleu into a pasta dish.
This Instant Pot Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta could hardly be easier. Step one, cook the chicken and pasta together in the pot for five minutes. Step two, add in the cheese, ham, Alfredo sauce from a jar, and seasonings, and stir it all up until the cheese melts. And step three…eat!

When you compare this to the original version of chicken Cordon Bleu – which involves pounding chicken cutlets flat, baking them, stuffing, them, breading them, and frying them – it’s almost unbelievably easy. Yet it still has all the flavor of the original, so you can get the thrill of cooking like a real French chef without the work.

I made this for a quick supper tonight and it was fabulous! I used the bow ties, a less fat Alfredo Roasted Garlic sauce and cut the ham & shredded cheese back a bit (to cut some fat/calories) and still absolutely fabulous! Thank you for such a delicious easy recipe! 😁👍
Can you double this recipe? We like it that much!
I haven’t made a double batch yet. I guess it would depend on the size of you Instant Pot. If you have an 8 qt then for sure. The 6qt should work, but it might be a little full.
This recipe sounds delicious, but I don’t have an Instant Pot. Do you have a version for cooktop or crockpot?
Sandy, For stove top, I could just cook the noodle and chicken separate. And then mix the rest of the ingredients together. Simmer for for about 10 mins.
Easy & tasty!
Turned out great! I haven’t been impressed with my instapot until this recipe 🙂
