Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, mix together cookie mix, softened butter, flour and egg until soft dough forms. Next, shape into 36 cookie balls.
Place cookie balls in mini muffin cups.
Press 1 rolo in center of each cookie.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool in pan for about 10-15 minutes. Place on cooling rack to cool completely. 5. Place cooling rack of cookies over another cookie sheet or waxed paper for easier cleanup. Turn cookies over so bottom side is up and rolo side is down.
In small microwavable bowl, microwave frosting uncovered on 30 second at a time until thin enough to pour. Pour warmed frosting over each cookie to completely cover. (about 1 TB) Rewarm frosting as needed.
In another small microwavable bowl, microwave white vanilla baking chips and shortening uncovered on 30 seconds at a time, until mixture smooth. Drizzle mixture over. Let cool until frosting glaze is set (this can take up to 3-4 hours) Store in airtight container at room temperature.
