Crockpot Cheesy Cowboy Potatoes

My Crockpot Cheesy Cowboy Potatoes are a hearty mixture of seasoned ground beef, taters, cheese, and onion.... Made easy, in m crockpot.

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 2 TB A1 Sauce
  • 1 small yellow onion diced
  • 3 lbs peeled russet potatoes sliced a ¼ inch thick
  • 3 Tablespoons of butter cut into 12 thin tabs
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheese
  • 1 cup munster cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup cook diced bacon
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • Fresh parsly diced and diced bacon for topping


  • Brown and season the ground beef on the stove top with diced onion. drain fat. Stir in 2 Tablespoons of A1 Sauce and set aside.
  • In a small bowl combine the paprika, garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper.
  • Combine the cheeses together in a small bowl
  • Add half of the potatoes in the crockpot. Sprinkle with half of the seasonings, 4 tabs of butter, half of the meat/onion mixture, half the bacon and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers again. Drizzle broth evenly over the layers, and top with last 4 tabs of butter.
  • Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours, or until potatoes are throughly cooked.
