Tips and Tricks for the Appetizer Board
Making salami roses - Layout 7-9 pieces of salami on the counter or cutting board, slightly overlapping. Fold the bottom up to the top of the salami creating a half fold, and firmly press on the fold line. Hold salami in place with one hand and slowly roll from one side to the end with the other hand. Secure the rose by inserting toothpicks from one side at the bottom.
Create a diploma with Pirouette wafers and pull and peel Twizzlers. Peel a few Twizzlers apart. Cut Twizzler in half and gently tie in the center of the Pirouette. With another piece of Twizzler, you can create a bow to place on top as well if you choose.
Use a mini star cookie cutter to create fun cheese shapes and place them all on board.
Go ahead and save yourself time by buying mini cupcakes from your local grocery store. Add the school color in sprinkles to give it the custom look.
Graduation caps- Unwrap chocolate squares, and Reese’s but leave the black paper on. Melt a piece of chocolate, you will be using this as your glue. Add a
small dollop of chocolate to the bottom of the Reese’s. Place a chocolate square on the top. Add another small dollop of melted chocolate in the center and place a brown mini-M&M. Create however many you are needing and place it on a plate. Place the plate in the refrigerator and allow the chocolate to harden
