Baked "Fried" Pickles

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3-4 Tablespoons of flour
  • 1 teaspoons of seasoning salt I used Lawry's
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dill
  • 1 1/2 cups of Panko Japanese bread crumbs
  • 2-3 Dill pickles thinly sliced

Instructions

  • In a shallow bowl add 1 egg. Beat with a folk.
  • Add the flour and mix until it's a paste like consistency.
  • Next Add the Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Mix well.
  • Add your thinly sliced pickles into the mixture. Toss to coat pickles evenly.
  • Pour the Panko bread crumbs in a shallow bowl.Add pickles in one at a time, trying to coat each one evenly.
  • Spread them on a wire rack that is over a cookie sheet. Cook them in the oven on broil (500 degrees) for 4-6 minutes (or when they start to get golden).
  • Take them out and flip them onto the other side and return them to the oven for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Keep your eye on them to make sure they don't burn. Serve warm.
  • Dip in ranch, or your favorite creamy dip!
