- 28 ounce can whole tomatoes including juice
- 1 small white onion chopped
- 2-3 jalapeño peppers seeded and chopped
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 & 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves loosely packed
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
Place whole tomatoes and their juices, onion, jalapeño, garlic, cumin, sea salt, sugar, cilantro and lime into a food processor or blender.
Pulse until ingredients are chopped fine and combined.
Refrigerate for an hour to combine flavors.
