Restaurant Style Salsa is a blended tomato salsa with a lovely kick of heat from the jalapenos which can be increased or decreased to suit your preferred level of spice!

Ingredients

  • 28 ounce can whole tomatoes including juice
  • 1 small white onion chopped
  • 2-3 jalapeño peppers seeded and chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves loosely packed
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

  • Place whole tomatoes and their juices, onion, jalapeño, garlic, cumin, sea salt, sugar, cilantro and lime into a food processor or blender.
  • Pulse until ingredients are chopped fine and combined.
  • Refrigerate for an hour to combine flavors.
