Brown Sugar Oat Milk Espresso (Copycat Starbucks)

Ingredients

Brown Sugar Syrup

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Iced Coffee

  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 1/2 cup espresso or dark roast coffee
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar syrup
  • Frothed oat milk to top
  • Cinnamon for dusting

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Once brown sugar has completely dissolved, take off heat and set aside to cool.
  • After filling a glass with ice, pour oat milk and espresso/coffee on top. Stir then add in your cooled brown sugar syrup.
  • Top with frothed oat milk and dust with a hint of cinnamon. Enjoy!

Notes

NOTE: The syrup recipes will make more than one server. You can stored in the fridge for a few days to use in other drinks.
