Ingredients

  • 21 ounce can strawberry pie topping
  • 8 ounce can crushed pineapple in juice- undrained
  • ¼ cup water
  • 15.25 ounce box white cake mix
  • 12 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Sliced banana
  • fresh strawberries
  • crushed peanuts
  • chocolate syrup
  • whipped cream or ice cream
  • sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F.  Mix together the strawberry pie topping, crushed pineapple, and water. Spread the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the cake mix evenly over the fruit mixture.
  • Cut the unsalted butter into 24-28 squares and set them on top of the cake mix, making sure to cover the entire cake.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Serve warm or cooled topped with sliced bananas, strawberries, crushed peanuts, whipped cream or ice cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles.
