- 21 ounce can strawberry pie topping
- 8 ounce can crushed pineapple in juice- undrained
- ¼ cup water
- 15.25 ounce box white cake mix
- 12 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- Sliced banana
- fresh strawberries
- crushed peanuts
- chocolate syrup
- whipped cream or ice cream
- sprinkles for topping
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Mix together the strawberry pie topping, crushed pineapple, and water. Spread the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Spread the cake mix evenly over the fruit mixture.
Cut the unsalted butter into 24-28 squares and set them on top of the cake mix, making sure to cover the entire cake.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm or cooled topped with sliced bananas, strawberries, crushed peanuts, whipped cream or ice cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles.
