  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 16 oz. mini marshmallows
  • 12 oz. Lucky Charms cereal plus some additional marshmallows to decorate the top of the pan of treats

  • Grease a 9x 13 pan with butter or nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large pan or stockpot, melt the butter over low-medium heat on the stovetop.
  • Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir while continuing to heat over low. Use a spatula to
  • stir constantly so the marshmallow does not burn on the bottom of the pan. Stir until the marshmallows are completely melted into the butter.
  • Remove from heat and add the Lucky Charms into the marshmallow mixture.
  • Stir until the cereal is fully coated with the melted marshmallow mixture.
  • Spread into the prepared pan. Use the palms of your hands to press the marshmallow treats evenly into the pan
  • If desired, strategically place a few additional marshmallows on the top and press them down into the bars.
  • This is optional, but give the marshmallow treats a little more character.
  • Allow them to cool completely. Cut into bars and serve.
