Greek Marinated Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 large chicken breast
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Add all your ingredients besides the chicken to a medium mixing bowl stir until well combined. Add the chicken in the yogurt mixture and make sure it is covered well.
  • Cover the chicken, place it in the fridge, and allow it to marinate for 1-3 hours.
  • My favorite way is to grill this chicken. Heat your grill to medium heat, grill your chicken for about 6 minutes per side until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Keep an eye on the chicken as it cooks because the yogurt will burn if it's cooked too high of a heat. This recipe is also great in the oven or cooked on the stovetop.
