Crockpot Chili Con Carne

- 3 lbs. extra lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 large green pepper chopped
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 28 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes drained
- 1 10.75 oz. can tomato soup
- 2 14 oz. can beans in tomato sauce
- 1 15 oz. can kidney beans rinsed
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- ½ tablespoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt

In a large skillet, scramble fry ground beef for 5 minutes on medium high. Add chopped
onion, green pepper, and garlic and continue cooking, stirring often, for an addition 5
minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Add to crockpot.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low
for 6-7 hours.
Serve in bowls and garnish with your choice of toppings.
