- 3 large chicken breast
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Add all your ingredients besides the chicken to a medium mixing bowl stir until well combined. Add the chicken in the yogurt mixture and make sure it is covered well.
Cover the chicken, place it in the fridge, and allow it to marinate for 1-3 hours.
My favorite way is to grill this chicken. Heat your grill to medium heat, grill your chicken for about 6 minutes per side until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Keep an eye on the chicken as it cooks because the yogurt will burn if it's cooked too high of a heat. This recipe is also great in the oven or cooked on the stovetop.
