Ingredients

  • 21 oz can apple pie filling
  • 30 oz can whole yams drained and cut in half
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Prepare a 9 X 13 sized pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • Directly in the dish combine canned apple pie filling, and canned yams.

  • In a separate small bowl combine chopped walnuts and nutmeg.

  • Dollop butter sporadically over the yam mixture and then spread the nut mixture on top.
