- 8 oz package cream cheese softened to room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa powder
- 8 oz container Cool Whip thawed
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- 21 oz can cherry pie filling
Blend the cream cheese and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy with an electric mixer. Mix the powdered sugar into the cream cheese mixture a little at a time until fully incorporated.
Add the cocoa powder into the cream cheese mixture until combined and no lumps remain.
Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined, followed by the chocolate chips.
Spread the mixture out into a serving dish. Spread the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese mixture. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve with graham crackers, cookies or sliced fruit. Enjoy!
