Easy Chicken Stuffing Casserole

Ingredients

For the filling:

  • 12 ounce jar chicken gravy
  • 10.5 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups chicken breast cooked and chopped into bite size pieces
  • 16 ounces frozen mixed vegetables

For the stuffing:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 6 ounce package stuffing mix
  • *Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375℉ and grease a 9x13” baking dish.
  • Whisk together the gravy, soup, chicken broth, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Fold in the chicken and mixed vegetables to the gravy mixture making sure the chicken and vegetables are completely coated.
  • Pour the chicken and gravy mixture into the 9x13” baking dish.
  • Stir the chicken broth, 4 tablespoons of melted butter and stuffing mix together in a medium mixing bowl just until moistened.
  • Use your hands to crumble the stuffing over the top of the chicken and gravy mixture into an even layer
  • Bake the dish for 30-35 minutes or until the gravy is bubbly and the stuffing is golden brown.
