Homemade Ranch Croutons

These homemade croutons come together in just minutes of prep and turn simple bread into crispy, flavorful bites.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz French baguette cut into ¾” cubes
  • ¼ cup canola oil or olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp ranch seasoning such as Hidden Valley
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

  • Preheat oven to 375℉ Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice baguette in half to make two manageable size pieces; slice into ¾” cubes.

  • In a large bowl; drizzle oil on bread chunks and toss with a large spoon until evenly coated.

  • Sprinkle bread with ranch seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.

  • Spread bread chunks onto the prepared baking sheet in one even layer.

  • Bake at 375℉ for 25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, tossing halfway through. Cool completely.
