  • 4 lbs beef brisket
  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Mexican oregano
  • 1 canned chipotle pepper more if you like it spicy
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce from canned chipotle peppers
  • 1 cup beef broth

For after cooking, optional toppings

  • Chopped cilantro
  • Street taco shells
  • Salsa
  • Finely sliced red onion

Instructions

  • Place the meat in a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. After cooking, shred the meat.
