Slow Cooker Creamed Peas

- 22 oz bag frozen peas
- 8 oz cream cheese cubed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter sliced into pats
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Add the frozen peas to the bottom of a 5 quart or larger slow cooker.
Add remaining ingredients on top of the peas.
Cover and set the slow cooker to high for 1-2 hours, or 3-4 hours on low, stirring a couple times throughout the cooking process until the peas are cooked through and the cream cheese has melted through. Adjust salt and pepper to taste,
Serve immediately as is or keep on the warm setting, enjoy!
