Savory Bacon Cheese Ball

Savory Bacon Cheese Ball - Family Fresh Meals Recipe

The way I see it, a cheese ball is the perfect appetizer for just about any occasion. You can whip up a pumpkin cheese ball for a fall get-together, a snowman cheese ball for the winter holidays, or a carrot-shaped cheese ball for Easter.

But sometimes, you want something a little bit fancier than just cream cheese in a cute shape. That’s when you dress up your cheese ball with some high-class ingredients: goat cheese, crumbled bacon, fresh parsley, and chopped pecans. It’s still that classic party appetizer you know and love, but in a more high-end package.

This snazzier cheese ball is great for dressy occasions like a cocktail buffet or a luncheon meeting (which you know is fancier than a lunch meeting because of that eon at the end). And because it’s still the same crowd-pleasing cheese ball on the inside, you can also bring it to a more casual party when you really want to impress the crowd.

3. Removed from the refrigerator and shape the mixture into a ball. I use plastic cling wrap to wrap around the ball to form a nice round ball. Roll in the bacon-pecan mixture.
