- 2 lb pork tenderloin
- 1 oz packet McCormick Au Jus Gravy Mix dry
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 16 oz jar mild giardiniera drained
- ½ cup unsalted butter sliced into pats
Place pork tenderloin in the bottom of a 6-quart Crockpot.
Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix, granulated garlic, and Italian seasoning evenly over the pork.
Top with the drained giardiniera and sliced butter pieces.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or high for 4 hours, until pork is fork-tender.
Remove pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
Return shredded pork to the Crockpot, stir to combine with juices and peppers, and let heat for 10 more minutes.
Serve on toasted hoagie rolls for a classic Chicago-style sandwich, or enjoy over mashed potatoes or rice.
