Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Divide the pizza dough into individual portions, enough to cover the top of your pot pie dishes. Roll out each portion of dough on a floured surface until it's large enough to cover the pot pie dish. I used a ramekin bowl to cut out circles.
Grease individual oven-safe pot pie dishes or ramekins with cooking spray or butter.
In a large skillet, add all the pizza toppings and pizza sauce. Simmer on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
Add sliced mozzarella cheese, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese to the bottom of the dishes, making sure the bottom and sides are covered.
Add your favorite pizza toppings from the skillet, on top of the cheese layer.
Cover each pot pie with rolled-out dough, pressing the edges to seal.
Top pizza dough with oregano and brush with melted butter.
Place the pot pies on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
Remove the pot pies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
To serve, place a plate on top of bowl and flip over. Remove bowl and serve on plate.
