Now on to the Valentine’s Lunchbox Ideas!

{Mommy Lunch } It’s easy to add some Valentine’s Day flare to your work lunch. Here I added some carrot hearts to my garden salad, and removed the core from my apple slices with a small heart cookie cutter.  In this lunch you will also find some guacamole, fresh blueberries (under the apples), trail mix and my new favorite Hibiscus Kombucha!   Packed in EasyLunchboxes

{School Lunch} Here I packed a Valentine’s Day fairy bread sandwich.  Fairy bread is an easy way to jazz up a boring sandwich. Simply use small cookie cutters to remove shapes and place sprinkles in the cut out.  I also have some fresh fruit and vegges packed up with a container of dip.   Packed in EasyLunchboxes

My favorite part of Valentine’s day is that it reminds me of my mom. One year while I was in college, on Valentine’s day mom gave me some little glass figurines. It was an out-of-the-blue thing for her to give me a gift on Valentine’s day. That was over 30 years ago and it still makes me smile to remember the joy of it.

  2. Amber L says

My favorite part of Valentine’s Day is just the love that resides in our house that day. The kids share their candy with all of us and they trade and just want to please. I love going shopping for my kids and Husband. I just love Valentine’s Day! <3

  3. Angeline says

I love Valentine’s Day because it is a low stress (in a house with 4 sons) holiday filled with low expectations; It is my favorite so I get to make it what I want. My fellas and hubby get showered with pink and red and I get to sit back and smile. They smile a bit too, it is the second day of the year where their health conscious Momma allows candy 😉

My favorite part of Valentine’s day is of course the chocolate, but also making everything heart -shaped! Cards, lunch items, candies, cupcakes…etc etc

  10. Gwen says

My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is coming up with creative ways to show my boys that I love them. Whether it’s heart-shaped pancakes, special treats in their lunches, or making special Valentine’s for them, it’s a fun day to show everyone a little extra love!

  11. Michelle B says

My favorite part of Valentine’s Day is watching my sons get so into cutting out hearts and talking about love! In a house full of boys, it’s nice to see them being all lovey dovey!

  12. haley says

i love the cute ittle valentines.teaching my rough and tumble boy to cut out hearts and use dioilies and collage art. seeing his messy little handwriting writing out his class name list. this is my first and only child so i cherish these adorable moments.

  13. Anna P says

Every Valentines Day I go on a special mommy-son date with my little guy. We get dressed up, we do something special, just us, and I surprise him with a little gift. It’s nothing big or fancy, but we both love it. It’s a really special experience for us. That’s my favorite thing about Valentines Day.
