Folks, can we get a little love here for the good old peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

I mean, we all loved these kids, right? But somehow, now that we’re grown up, we feel like we’re not supposed to enjoy them anymore. Like they’re not sophisticated enough, or something.Peanut Butter Jelly Protein Box - sandwich on cutting board with knife

The only problem with it is that sometimes it gets squashed in a lunch box. But that’s easy to fix – just cut it up and put it in an EasyLunchbox, with fresh fruit and veggies. I picked strawberry/blueberry mix, cucumbers, and carrots, but you can use whatever you like best.Peanut Butter Jelly Protein Box Recipe - Family Fresh Meals

  1. While this is a great lunch alternative, it’s not protein packed! Unfortunately peanut butter isn’t a good source of protein. I added so boiled eggs to mine to make it a protein packed lunch!

    1. Love your addition of hard boiled eggs!
