Freezer Friendly Breakfast Croissant Sandwiches

Freezer Friendly Breakfast Croissant Sandwiches - cheese, eggs and bacon on croissant

I don’t know who was the first person to come up with the idea of a breakfast sandwich, but boy, it sure was a stroke of genius. When you’re in a hurry, it’s easy to grab and munch on your way to work or school, or anywhere you’re going. And with eggs, bacon, and cheese all stuffed inside, it gives you plenty of fuel to get through the morning.

The problem with breakfast sandwiches is, though they’re quick to grab and eat, they’re not so quick to make. You have to fry the bacon, scramble the eggs, slice the buns, and assemble it all into sandwiches. In the time it takes to do all that, you could just sit down and eat a bowl of cereal.Eggs, croissants and sliced cheese

The solution? Make your breakfast sandwiches ahead of time. I can whip up a batch of these Freezer Friendly Croissant Breakfast Sandwiches whenever I have half an hour to spare, then wrap them and pop them in the freezer. Then, on a busy morning, I can just grab one, unwrap it, give it a quick zap in the microwave, and hit the road.

Of course, if you happen to have plenty of time in the morning, you can just make these and eat them right then and there. They’re just as good either way.
