Hot Italian Sandwiches

Hot Italian Sandwiches served on a white plate with a side of Giardiniera Mix

Hot Italian Sandwiches

So, let’s say you’re throwing a casual party for a big group, and you’re trying to decide whether to serve pizza or sub sandwiches.

Now, you know pizza is always a crowd-pleaser. Hot pizza is more appealing than a cold sandwich. But on the other hand, a meat-packed Italian sub is more substantial, and it’s also easier to transport and serve. So which is the better choice?

Well, why not serve the best of both?

These Hot Italian Sandwiches have everything you love about pizza and subs, in one. The rolls are slathered in butter and garlic, then loaded up with salami, pepperoni, smoked ham, mozzarella, and giardiniera mix (a mixture of pickled veggies). Then, you bake them for 10 to 15 minutes, so the cheese melts all over those delicious meats and veggies. Not hoagie sandwich sitting on it's side

When these come out of the oven, they’re hot, oozing, and crammed with Italian flavor, just like a fabulous pepperoni pizza. But they’re also loaded up with meat and veggies, just like a great Italian sub. And all in a form that’s easy to slice, serve, and eat – even without a plate. With the best of both pizza and sandwiches, these just might be the perfect party food.
