We all have our vices. Mine is cookie dough. What can I say? I know raw eggs aren’t good to eat, and even raw flour can be a problem sometimes. But I just can’t resist it! With a whole bowl of delicious chocolate chip cookie dough in front of you, how could you possibly wait for the cookies to come out of the oven!

To indulge my naughty habit safely, I turned my forbidden snack into a delicious Cookie Dough Dip. And that was so yummy, I got to thinking about what other flavors of cookie dough I could give the same treatment to. Well, what’s even better than chocolate chip cookies? Monster cookies! They have all the deliciousness of chocolate chip cookies, plus peanut butter, chewy oats, and M&Ms. They’re pretty much the ultimate cookie, so I knew they would make the ultimate cookie dough dip.3 small white plates with dip, apples and graham crackers

What is the texture of the dip like?

  • It’s really thick and stiff, just like real cookie dough. It’s much closer to the real thing than my original Cookie Dough Dip, in fact. Even better for feeding my cookie dough addiction!

What kind of oats should I use for this recipe?

  • I used plain old rolled oats for a really hearty, chewy texture. But you could substitute quick-cooking oats if you want it a bit lighter (or if that’s all you have in the pantry).

What kinds of things can you dip in Monster Cookie Dough Dip?

  • It’s great with apple slices, pretzels, or graham crackers. It would also work with other firm Other crackers or not-too-sweet cookies, like vanilla wafers, would also work well. Just make sure to choose firm ones that won’t break easily, because as I said, this is one thick dip.

How to make Monster Cookie Dough Dip

  3. Using a wooden spoon, mix in the oats.  Next, mix in the M&M’s and chocolate chips.chocolate chips and m and m's added to cookie dough mixture
  4. Keep in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve it. It does firm up in the fridge and makes the dip a little thicker. Monster Cookie Dough Dip

This Monster Cookie Dough Dip is absolutely bursting with all the ingredients that make monster cookies so fabulous: oats, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and colorful M&Ms.

Cook Time 30 minutes

Ingredients
 

  • 8 oz package of cream cheese softened
  • One stick of butter- ½ cup softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cups powder sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup plain M&M’s
  • ½ cup semi- sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Beat softened cream cheese, butter and peanut butter together with a hand mixer until smooth.
  • Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Using a wooden spoon, mix in the oats.  Next, mix in the M&M’s and chocolate chips.
