TIPS FOR MAKING THIS RECIPE

  • If you’d prefer a lighter dip, consider using medium to low-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
  • If you have a small amount of dip leftover, heat it up with some cream and use it to coat some pasta or use it as a topping on grilled chicken breasts. It’s also super delicious as a spread on toasted sandwiches!
  • Consider adding some crumbled bacon to this fried pickle dip for a delicious meaty twist.
  • You can mix in diced dill pickles or even dill relish into the actual dip instead of it just being a garnish. This will provide even more of a tangy flavor.
  • Greek yogurt can be used instead of sour cream although this will change the overall taste slightly.
  • Another tasty addition to this fried pickle dip includes chopped white onion.
