Greek Yogurt Chicken Salad just got a whole lot cooler!
If you love chicken salad and avocados, then you are going to go ga-ga for this recipe. After my first bite , I had an OMG moment. How can this taste THIS GOOD and be HEALTHY!
To make this recipe even more awesome, I used 1/2 mayo and 1/2 plain Greek Yogurt. This plus the creamy chunks of avocado really do take this recipe up a notch. Healthy Avocado Chicken Salad
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20-30 minutes to let all those yummy flavors blend together.


- Serve on your favorite bread, crackers, pita pocket or on a bed of lettuce.

- 1 avocado
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 1 tsp fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup mayo

I made this last night and portioned it out for the week to bring to work for lunch, but I’m worried that it might not look so pretty come Thursday or Friday…Thoughts? Suggestions? Delicious recipe! I will definitely be making it again 🙂
I had some avocados that I wanted to use before they went bad, so I made this last night and it was so yummy! I could eat the entire bowl myself 🙂 I also did not use any mayo and just doubled the greek yogurt, but you cannot even tell the difference!
Just wondering how many calories this recipe would be??
I made this last night and it is DELICIOUS! I am currently training for a physique competition and was so tired of eating plain chicken and veges and desperately needed something new and healthy for my palate. This was so good it tasted like I was eating something bad 🙂 The only changes I made were no cilantro (that’s just I personal thing, I don’t like it much) and used Light Mayo to cut some calories. Thanks for saving me from another boring meal! So delicious!
I made this salad this morning to use for lunches this week and it is absolutely lovely!!! I made a bigger batch so I had to double some of the servings, and I added lemon juice, diced onions and celery. This stuff was gooooooood!!! This is the only chicken salad recipe I will be eating from now on!!
